Which Macs can run Unmake?
Unmake requires a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. Enable Apple Intelligence in System Settings and allow its on-device model to finish downloading.
Good places to start.
If you’re reporting a problem, include your macOS version, Unmake version, and what happened. Leave private conversation content out unless you choose to share it.
Why isn’t the coach ready?
Check that Apple Intelligence is enabled and its model is downloaded. Availability can depend on your language and region. Unmake needs the on-device model to start a conversation.
Do I need an account?
There is no Unmake account. Your first thread is free. Purchases and optional private iCloud sync use your Apple Account.
How do I restore Pro?
Use Restore purchases in Unmake with the Apple Account used for your subscription. If Pro still doesn’t appear, check your subscription status with Apple and contact us.
Why can’t I use voice?
Allow microphone and speech access in System Settings. Unmake requires on-device speech recognition for your language; it does not send speech to a remote transcription service. You can always type instead.
How does iCloud sync work?
With Pro, you can opt in to sync through your private iCloud database. Use the same Apple Account on your compatible devices. Sync pauses if Pro expires; turning sync off leaves existing copies in place.
Can I export or delete my conversations?
Yes. Export a thread as a readable Markdown file, or delete it in the app. Reading, exporting, and deleting existing threads remain available without an active subscription.
What happens when I cancel Pro?
When Pro access ends, existing additional threads remain readable, exportable, and deletable. Pro iCloud sync pauses. You don’t lose access to the things you’ve already written.

Apple manages billing and cancellations. Follow Apple’s subscription instructions to change or cancel your plan. For refund requests, visit Apple’s purchase support.
